At the grand hall of the Ellington Hotel Berlin the new Spring/Summer collection 2010 of LAC ET MEL head of design Gregor Clemens will be on the catwalk as well as his first jewellery collection, designed for the German jeweller XEN.

The label with its 'Made in Germany' collections belongs to the premium sector. This is underlined by the fact that fabrics and accessories from France or Italy are used exclusively, starting with this new collection. Besides the fact of an even more ecological way of manufacturing, made clear by the short distances, the collections of the label want to be different from mass-produced articles and ways of production. Still they follow the way of a high grade eccentricity.

Gregor Clemens got his inspiration for this new collection from the so called “Savoir Vivre” in Paris at the early Sixties of the last century.  “The lightness and the zest for action of the early days of the Prêt à Porter were just magic to me. This mute has influenced me by making this collection on a high basis. Especially the look and impression of different silk fabrics has inspired me as well as the beauty of old “Chanel” fabrics that are made in France only.” comments Clemens on his collection.

Straight after the show the label invites to an exclusive barbecue that is held for guests and participants of the fashion show only. Please note that a shuttle service from and to Bebelplatz for the guests will be provided.
